When I first saw this stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps, I knew I had to make a card that looked like a gear. I thought that this little guy would be the perfect robot for a “gear card”. Doesn’t he look like he spends all day tinkerin’ away on gears? Okay well maybe he spends his lunch hour racing the other ‘bots down the hallways or see who can put the most nuts and bolts in their mouth at one time…okay back to the card….hee hee.
For this card I used my Martha Stewart circle cutter on a piece of CTMH paper. I cut the circle 5 inches. Then I went and cut out the notches of the gears. I cut out 2 more circles and stamped my sentiment on the white cardstock. Then I stamped a part of the robot onto the white cardstock. I planned on cutting him out and wanted to make sure he had his little antenna on top of his head. Then I stamped my robot multiple times so that after he was colored I could layer him up on foam dots. I put some stickles and crystal effects on parts of his body. I even gave him a light on top of his antenna. I think he turned out so cute! I wouldn’t mind having a robot at home like this, especially one who does laundry!!!
Here is a close up of him…
Here is the inside…
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a fantastic day!!
xoxo,
Rebecca
