Merry merry merry…

26 days till Christmas!!!  I can’t wait!  Christmas is one of my favorite holidays…I love being able to spend time with family and celebrate the Reason for the Season.  I love all the smells of Christmas, the lights, the happy giggles, and anticipation of Christmas morning!  We do a lot to prepare for this special day.  We make salt dough ornaments, decorate the tree, make cards to send to family and friends, and so much more.

At my last Stamping Sunday yesterday we made some Christmas cards and a ornament gift card holder.  It was a bitter sweet day.  I have enjoyed being a Close To My Heart Consultant, but the time has come to move on.  I enjoyed sharing my creativity and joy with all who came.  We used

Here is what we created…

I've been away....

Well it's been a while since I have blogged...life has been crazy! I'm on the PTA and the last couple of weeks in September to the first couple of weeks in November life is...well...BUSY!!! I didn't have hardly any time to craft. I really missed it!! But I did keep a sketch book with lots of ideas, so be ready for them to start coming! Then my littlest got the flu, even with getting the flu shot. Of course I was around her 24/7 taking care of her and helping her to feel better so as luck had it, I ended up with the flu too. I've never had the flu before and wasn't expecting to feel like someone had just beaten me up. I've never felt so sore before!! Plus I was freezing then sweating, then freezing...you get the idea. Then after getting over the flu I felt okay but didn't have a lot of energy. I figured that is how you were supposed to feel after having the flu. Well after I still didn't feel better I went to the doctor. I ended up having bronchitis. So after being on antibiotics I am feeling better. Our school fundraiser is over (Thank Goodness), Red Ribbon week is over, bike rodeo is over and taxes are done, so now I can get back to crafting!!! It's about that time to start making Christmas gifts, cards and of course the Christmas cookies! Oh and if you have a favorite Christmas cookie or dessert, please feel free to send it my way.

I hope you all have a very thankful Thanksgiving!
