Built With Love

DSC05242

Don’t you just love this little robot!  I think this stamp set “Bitty Bots”  from Clear Dollar Stamps is just way to cute and is definitely one of my favorites!!  The robots are just so versatile!  I have used them for Halloween (which you will see soon), for birthdays, even to tell that special someone how much you love them.

Over at Splitcoast, the Monday technique challenge was to make a Tri-Fold Card.  I of course wanted to ink up my “Bitty Bots”.  This little robot made me think of Mars.  I remember watching a show when I was younger and the robot was all rusty and came from Mars and befriended some teenage kids.  It was one of those after school specials that I would race home to watch!

I used paper from Basicgrey and CTMH ‘Chocolate’.  The Basicgrey paper just screamed Mars, even though it is from the dino collection.

Here is a close up of my "’Bot.

I used some wire to create the voltage going across his antenna.  I also stamped him in Memento ‘Rich Cocoa’ ink and colored him with my Copic Sketch markers.  I added silver eyelets from Memory Makers, SU ribbon and some silver stretchy cord to hold my tag and washer on.

Here is the inside…

I really like how this all turned out.  Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful day!

xoxo,

Rebecca
